Gorillas Destroy Kimball/White Lake

The Gregory Gorillas Boys’ Basketball Team played Kimball/White Lake in Gregory on Thursday  In the first quarter, the Gorillas started off strong, scoring 11 points and KWL only scoring five. In the second quarter, KWL scored 10 points and the Gorillas only scored seven. Making the score 18-15 Gorillas. In the third the Gorillas pulled ahead, scoring 22 points and KWL only scoring 11. In the fourth the Gorillas sealed the deal by scoring 19, and KWL scored 12. The final score was 59-38, giving the Gorillas another win for the season. The boys’ record is 8-4 so far this season. 

 Sophomore Coy Determan was the top scorer of the night, scoring 18 points. He made 7 out of 12 field goals for a 58% shooting percentage. Right behind him Senior Tommy Determan scored 13 points. He made 5 out of 14 field goals for a 36% shooting percentage. The Gorillas made 10 out of 25 three pointers for 40%. The team made 13 out of 35 two pointers for 37%. Making three out of four free throws, the team was at 75%. Bryan Eagle Star had six rebounds and four steals. C. Determan had four assists, and Grant Thomas had three. The team had 25 rebounds and seven steals total.
