Gorillas Fall to Raiders

On Tuesday, The Gorillas traveled to Lyman to play the Raiders. In the first quarter, the score was 18-14 with the Gorillas down by four. In the second quarter, the score was 30-27, the Gorillas trailing again by three. In the third, the Gorillas closed the gap by two with a score of 42-40. But in the fourth, the Raiders pulled ahead winning 62-56. Coy Determan had 16 points to end the game.

On the offensive side, the team was 20/44 for 45% from the field. The team was 5/13 for 38% from the three-point line. The team was also 11/15 for 73% from the free throw line. C. Determan’s 16 points were followed by Tommy Determan’s 15 points. T. Determan had 3/5 offensive rebounds.

On the defensive rebounds, the team had four steals, three blocks, and 24 rebounds. T Determan had six defensive rebounds, Garret Roeder had four, and Evan Juracek and Bryan Eagle Star had three.

Today the Gorillas will be traveling to Tyndall to play the Cavaliers. The C team will begin at 5:15 p.m. and JV will follow. Tomorrow the Gorillas will have their last regular season game against Rapid City Christian, and will begin at 4 p.m. with the C team.
