Gorillas fall to Winner Warriors and Wagner Raiders

On Saturday, the Gorillas traveled to Winner to play the Warriors. The final score was 66-48. Tommy Determan had 14 points to end the game.

On the offensive side, the team was 18/51 for 35% from the field. The team was 6/9 for 67% from the free throw line. T. Determan’s 14 points were followed by Coy Determan’s 10 and Evan Juracek’s nine. T. Determan, Garret Roeder, C. Determan, and Bryan Eagle Star had one offensive rebounds to add to the team total of 4.

On the defensive side, the team had one steal and 23 total rebounds. C. Determan and T. Determan had seven of the defensive rebounds out of the 19 they had as a team.

On Tuesday, the Gorillas traveled to Wagner to play the Raiders, and the final score was 54-44. T. Determan had 16 points to end the game.

On the offensive side, the team was 18/52 for 35% from the field. The team was 6/8 for 75% from the free throw line. T. Determan’s 16 points were followed by Juracek’s 12 and C. Determan’s eight. Eagle Star, Roeder, and T. Determan had two offensive rebounds.

On the defensive side, the team had 13 steals and 28 total rebounds. C. Determan had one block. Juracek had six, T. Determan had five, and C. Determan had three defensive rebounds.

The Gorillas will be playing at home tonight against the South Central Cougars. JV boys will start at 6:30 p.m. and the varsity will follow.
