Last Thursday, Oct. 29, GHS high school students came together to perform their oral interp. pieces, at the high school. There were 16 pieces all together with 11 superiors.

The students who earned superiors are Jorgan Remme, humorous; Molly Grasesser, serious reading; Mollie Schmidt, oratory and storytelling; Ashley Meyer, oratory; Sami Whitney, oratoy; Jacey Feyereisen & Ivy Ekroth, duet; Ashley Meyer and Lindsey Wenger, duet; Cade Fortuna and Addy Nelson, duet; Kathlyn Nadal, poetry. Readers theatre also received a superior, the following students that were in it were Jacey Feyereisen, Ivy Ekroth, Molly Graesser and Jorgan Remme.

In the humorous division, Jorgan Remme won and will be advancing to districts, Molly Graesser is going to districts in the serious reading division. For oratory Ashley Meyer advances, and Mollie Schmidt is going for storytelling. Jacey Feyereisen and Ivy Ekroth are going for duets, Kathlyn Nadal for poetry, and the readers theatre group will also be competing at districts.

Districts will be Monday, Nov. 9, at Cedar Shore Resort in Chamberlain starting at 9:00 a.m. Winners from districts will advance to regions on Monday, Nov. 23, in Pierre at the Ramkota Hotel.
