On Tuesday, the Chamberlain/Andes Central triangular was held at BurkeHigh School.  Coach Braun stated, “Last night I felt that the younger wrestlers wrestled extremely well and have come a long way from the beginning of the season.  Our veteran wrestlers have done an amazing job of showing leadership.  If everyone keeps working hard, it should be a great end to the season.”

Starting off the night, Burke/Gregory wrestled against Chamberlain.  Blake Boes, Lady Johnson, Kurt Braun, Brandon Warnke, Jonah Beck, Skye Soesbe, and Colten Nelson pinned their opponents and Levi Schonebaum won by a tech fall. Burke/Gregory annihilated Chamberlain 65-9.

The last dual of the night was Burke/Gregory against Andes Central. Having multiple forfeits throughout the dual, Burke/Gregory came out on top 66-12. Out of the 14 matches there were 6 pins: Shaw Winters, Warnke, Noah Beck, Soesbe, Tyson Serr, and Ridge Oliver.

Coach Hanson said, “Winning 23 of the 28 matches was certainly a dominate performance, which is indicative of the effort we are going to have to put forth to realize our goals for the remainder of the season.”
