Elementary Gets Its Christmas Spirit on!

The GregoryElementary School has been very active working on Christmas crafts and learning about Christmas spirit.

The elementary had its annual Christmas concert on Friday the 6.

The classes started off counting down the Christmas days with decorating the hallways and doors all around the elementary. The FCCLA will be having a shopping time on the 18 from 8:30 to 10:30 to help the little kids get gifts for their parents. The FCCLA will be wrapping the gifts also. The elementary will be holding an open house on Thursday the 19 from 1 to 2:30 to show off decorations and hard work in the hallways. The admission for the open house is one canned food item.

The teachers have made a wish tree to get supplies for their classes. The teachers have written down items they need on color coordinated pieces of paper and have hung them on the tree. The student or other adults can take the pieces of paper and get the items for the teacher. The tree is placed in front of the lunch room.

To start off the fun two-week vacation, the elementary gets to have a Christmas carnival from 9 to 11 on Friday the 20. Also on Friday, Mr. Determan planned a movie at the downtown theatre for the kids to watch from 12:30 to 2:30.
