The Gregory Gorillas succeeded with another win against the South Central Cougars on Friday with a score of 30-12.  The Gorillas piled a total of 280 yards with Cougars at a total of 237.

            Derek Stukel racked up a total of 140 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.  Jonah Beck and Gavin Thomas each had a receiving touchdown.  Kurt Braun threw for 51 yards to Thomas for the first touchdown of the night.  Then Braun ran for the 2-point conversion.  This put the Gorillas on top 8-0.  Braun also threw 54 yards to Beck for a touchdown.  Stukel galloped 90 yards for his first touchdown and ran another 35 yards for his second touchdown for the night. 

            The Gorillas’ defense was led by Brandon Warnke with 14 tackles and Beck with 11 tackles.  Brody Boes contributed with 10 tackles.

            Their next game will be played at home this Friday against Scotland.  Come support the Gorillas!
