On January 24 the Girl’s Varsity basketball team played Mt. Vernon/Plankinton and lost by 17 points.  The score was 42-59.  Courtney Opbroek and Briana Leber led the scoring with 13 points.

Leber said, “We played together well and kept our turnover numbers below twenty and did a good job of fronting their six foot post player.” The team had a total of 30 rebounds, 8 offensive and 22 defensive.  They shot 53% from the free throw line.
