The Lady Spikers played against the Todd County Falcons at home on Tuesday, Sept. 19. The Spikers won in three sets, 25-16, 25-20, and 26-24. Kaelee Haney led the team in kills with 9, and Megan Warnke followed with 8.

The Spikers started quickly, taking a win in the first set, 25-16. The Spikers also won the second set, 25-20. The Spikers came out of a tough third set with a win sealing the game, 26-24.

As a whole they had 41 service points, 5 aces, and 33 kills. Haney led the team in service points with 10, Sydney Svatos followed with 9, Addy Nelson and Alexa Hannahs came in with 7. The Spikers had a total of 47 digs. Svatos led with 17 digs, Amber Swan followed with 9, and Hannahs and Warnke added 5 to the total.

Sophomore, Sydney Svatos said, “I feel like we’re pretty strong and we’re playing better as a team.”
