On Friday and Saturday, the high school play will be performing “Haphazardly Ever After” by Jeff Fluharty. The performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Dixon Town Hall Theatre. The doors will open at 7:00 and you can buy tickets in house. Adult tickets cost $5 and student tickets cost $3. There will also be a matinee for the middle school on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.

Directed by Kayla Begeman and assisted by Kristy Ring, several high school students have worked hard for over two months memorizing lines, choreographing action packed scenes, and decorating the stage to bring you the best performance they can. The play follows the lives of a king and queen with four rambunctious children played by Salma Serr, Shannon Weller, Grant Thomas, and Garret Roeder. Megan Warnke playing Queen Mildred and Issac Barreto playing King Barnabas do everything they can to try and discipline the obnoxious brats. Will they all be able to live “Haphazardly Ever After”? The only way to find out is to attend.
