JV and Middle School Tee Off for Their First Tournament

Last Tuesday Gregory’s junior varsity team traveled to Burke for a golf tournament. For the girls, senior Marie Schmidt placed fourth with 136 points, senior Shannon Weller placed sixth with 137 points, and senior Toshiya Cramer placed thirteen with 163 points. For the boys, seventh grader Kade Braun placed fifth with a total of 103 points, and eighth grader Wyatt Weller received a total of 148 points. In order to receive a medal you have to place in the top fifteen. All JV golfers have to golf eighteen holes.

On Tuesday as well the Gregory Middle School Golf Team traveled to Platte for its gold tournament. For the middle school boys, six grader Kyler Svoboda placed sixth with fifty-three points, and seventh grader Eli Barreto with seventy-nine points. For the middle school girls, seventh grader Kaydence Klein placed eleventh with seventy-two points, and sixth grader Gabby Jung placed twelfth with seventy- three points. Sixth grader Lily Jacobsen placed sixteenth not enough to medal with eighty points. For middle school they only have to golf nine holes, but in order to medal, they still have to place above fifteenth place.
