Events to be Held On This Last Week of School

This week is very busy as the school year comes to an end. Graduations and traditional ceremonies are peppered throughout the entire week. Tonight, there will be an awards banquet for the students of Gregory High School. Students who have participated in extracurricular and sports will be honored and awarded, as well as receive their letters for the year. There will be food. It starts at 6 p.m. at the auditorium.

On Tuesday, the auditorium will host both kindergarten and eighth grade graduation. The kindergarten graduation starts at 1:00 p.m. with the guest speaker eighth grade valedictorian Vy Nguyen. Eighth grade graduation starts at 7:00 p.m. and high school valedictorian Peyton Feyereisen will speak.

On Wednesday, the elementary school will have a track and field day at the track. It starts at 8:30 and lasts all day. At 8:00 p.m., Baccalaureate, a prayer service for graduating seniors, will begin.

Elementary awards will be handed out at the high school gym on Friday at 10:00 a.m.

The high school seniors will graduate on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the auditorium. GHS graduate and former Keloland news anchor Casey Wonnenberg King will speak. See you next year.
