On Thursday, April 5 and Friday, April 6, the junior high students will perform Robin Hood and His Merry Men at the Dixon Town Hall Theatre. Prince John, Christian Spann, has decreed that the citizens of Nottingham pay weekly taxes or face the penalty of death. His decrees are enforced by the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, Gracie Kenzy, and her side-kick Matilda, Emma Thomas. The citizens think that all hope is lost until they hear word of a noble hero, Robin Hood of Locksley, Eli Fogel. Robin Hood, with the help of Little John, Carson Klundt; Friar Tuck, Jaden Graber; and Duncan, Luke Sinclair, rob from the rich, give to the poor, and save the fair Maid Marian, Kodi Timanus. This comic retelling of the story includes thumb wars, missed cues, and a slow motion fight.

For a good time and a good laugh, come down to the Dixon Town Hall Theatre to watch the students perform.
