On Saturday, Nov. 4, four students went to Pierre for the Governor’s Invite. They went against A and AA schools in three rounds in the morning, and one final round that competitors had to qualify for to compete.

Salma Serr was in humorous and placed fifth in the novice category. Lindsey Wenger and Serr made it to the final rounds in duet. Also competing that day were Jorgan Remme in serious reading and Johnny Nguyen in poetry.
