On Friday the Dakota Wesleyan University Highlanders Tour, a performance by the Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music, will be in Gregory at the high school at 1 p.m. They will be touring six South Dakota towns. The towns they will visit will be Armour, Winner, Bonesteel, Gregory, Vermillion, and Beresford. The choir consists of 12 people with one of them being Gregory’s very own 2016 graduate, Ivy Ekroth.

The choir will perform an animal-themed concert called “All Creatures of our God and King.” They will also be singing acapella songs by the Beatles, Three Dog Night, and the Turtles. The Highlanders will close the concert with their signature setting of “The Irish Blessing.”
