Raiders Crushed the Spikers

            Tuesday night’s JV match against the Wagner Raiders did not go as the Gorilla’s planned. The Spikers faced their first defeat. The scores were 8-25 and 11-25.

            Maddie Eklund came out with the most digs with a total of 4. Brandi Colford and Megan Preslicka came in behind with 3 digs. Colford and Ivy Ekroth had 1 ace serve. Morgan Drey and Mackenzie Feyereisen had 2 kills. As a team they had 5 kills, and they improved on their serve receive by 11%.

            “At the beginning of the game, we didn’t play very well, but on the second set I feel like we played more as a team,” said Ivy Ekroth.

            The JV Spikers Homecoming game will be this Tuesday at home against Dakota Christian starting at 6:30.
